Macbeth's Goldenseal Cream
Macbeth's Goldenseal Cream is formulated to provide anti fungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory action. Also, can replenish oils beneficial for the skin.
Goldenseal can assist with external fungal and bacterial infections, dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis type symptoms. Very soothing to inflamed skin. Fungus infections are conditions such as Athletes foot (Tinea pedis) Jock itch (Tinea cruris), and Ringworm.
Hemp seed oil is considered excellent for nourishing the skin. The seeds contain 'over 80% polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), with rich quantities of essential fatty acids, ie linoleic acid (omega-6) and a-linoleic acid (omega 3). Gamma-linoleic acid (omega 6) and stearidonic acid are present in smaller quantities. The 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 is considered the optimal ratio for health.' (1)
Cocoa butter is also high in fats that can help to deeply moisturise and create a protective barrier on the skin.
German Blue Chamomile can encourage wound healing such as inflammation, eczema, and acne (2). It is anti-inflammatory as well which will add to the already powerhouse of ingredients.
Directions: apply small amounts regualarly to the affected area.
